hmmm perculiar / the sands are shifting?

something strange just happened, or rather i was surprised at my lack of reaction
a certain somebody just popped online on msn
Now usually i would get a shot of adrenalin at this point, excitement and dread all mixed into one
Marking that the sands are still where they were, stuck in a pointless pathetic situation
However
this time i felt next to nothing, which surprised me.
Just a small meh shame your not talking and its pointless trying
the same youd feel for a sorta half friend that you spoke to every so often but have since fallen out of touch.
aka near to nothing, finally
I could be wrong, maybe im just talking normal bullshit
but i dont think i have lamented about the situaton for a while now.
and with this
I believe the sands are shifting
THANK FUCK FOR THAT!

what aload of rubbish!

okay thus is my second blog tonight... (i wont do this again)
but i felt this had to be said

I just saw an advert on the telly
"i we completely cut all methane emissions today then the worst of global warming will pass within a decade"
"go veg, go green"
save the world or something along these lines.
what aload of rubbish!

A) As far as greenhouse gasses go methane is a pauper. It is much wore than Co2 but compared to things like CFCs it has very little effect per molecule.
B) going vegetarian would not completley cut methane production infact it would barely effect it
a)Not all methane is produced by animals it is a byproduct of decomposition, incomplete combustion and splitting fossil fuels.
b)Lets presume for a second all methane is created by animals, by us all going vegetarian the demand for cheese, milk, eggs will shoot through the roof! especially eggs as we will need to replace our protein lost by not eating red meats! So whilst the numbers of some animals will drop they will be replaced by others!
         c) Not all animals are used for food... many of us have pets, some of you girls a leather handbag, perhaps some soap made by whale blubber? and what about zoo's we gonna put them all out of buisness and cull every animal on earth?
         d) we humans are animals... we produce methane, they gonna kill all us too?

Global warming is by now an unavoidable impact of the greedy power hungry life us humans lead. Humanity will survive whatever the earth throws at us. We have the technology to help reduce global warming
we have hydrogen powered cars (powered everything tbf)
we have wind,tidal,solar,nuclear power
we are attempting to create a way of having sustained nuclear fussion aka nuclear power but without the bad parts
we can stop binge eating, smoking, drinking and save our resources
However one thing stands in our way, not eating meat i might add!
Humanity - our greed and love for this percullier thing called money
we may aswell give up already.

Goodie good good :)

went to a crap movie last night...
it was awesome :) and here is why!
i have amazing friends :)
I love them all to pieces :)
and they make shit things awesome!
and make me very happy :) and i dont deserve them.
that is all.

Littlething

I apologise for the religious overtones of my only blogs so far
but at this time of year you cant escape it.
and this is one of those times of year where religion shows its true colours
this is when religion shows just how amazing it is!

Its christmas time and people are smiling. Everybody from all sorta of religions and backgrounds are smiling.
Through christmas hampers being given to those in need
shoeboxes being sent to orphans in LEDCs
everyone is being made happy :) the christmas spirit is infecting everyone
and this is where religion is truly beautiful

Enough about religion though
time to talk about personal shit :)
anddd there only one reader of this blog so far
sooo
HELLO LOUISE!!
i guess tonight im feeling a bit i dunno just a bit reminscant and a bit sad
just something someone said to me last night
new years resolution should be to get over them together
and i know it the right thing to do and whats gotta happen
but i just feel sad its had to get to that stage :(
i just want it to be fixed somehow, i dont care how anymore.
someone needs to wake that girl up
so i leave you with a quote from a song whos titles is shared by this blog
"its how ive often felt,
when i find myself,
ohh on nights like these,
like christmas eve,
from the empty office window,
to the street outside,
its everything not to call,
and find out why"

but on new years she will no long be welcome on my mind, and to all intent and purpose it shall be asif she dont exist.

diary of an agnostic

walking to work today i though of the most perfect thing to say in a blog
i have forgot now the exact words
they are lost forever in my brain
perhaps i shall think them again and not realise in a few years
however they went something like this

I do not believe in god,no higher power,no devine spirit
put simply there is too much evil in the world, too much hatred, too much pain
however
neither do i believe in science, the big bang leaves a very obvious problem
what caused the big bang?
Was is caused by a sudden shift in space time in another universe causing our alternative universe to be created?
Or perhaps are we to something like gas is to us?
are we just floating on what we would call particles slowly dispersing into what would be a room (universe) with doors linking too many other universes (black holes possibly)?
No i do not believe in either

However i believe in the beauty of human nature
that we ourselves are devine
and are ourselves above creation by science or god(s)
let me explain
there is a certain beauty in the imperfect,
a certain grace in the smallest of freckles
a sad truth when a lover hurts another through their own stupidity
we are each one of a billion people
and yet
each a billion to one
mankind is imperfect, we hurt, kill, betray and lie on a daily basis
and yet each of us convinces ourselves that we are doing the best we can
nobody goes out wanting to be evil.
That itself is a miracle,

However there is more than just us in this world
the world itself is gorgous
hues of green, brown and blue litter the earth
I say litter as we do not appreciate them
we build buildings against them
we pummel through mountains just for the convenience of a shorter road
we trampel our beaches with rubbish for no to other reason then we can not be arsed to put our rubish in the bin.
If only we built around the earth,
Worked with nature rather than fighting against it
the earth could once again be beautiful.
Rather than its beauty designated to protected spots for our pleasure
so we can all reminisce on how life should be
and then do fuck all about it.

Mankind is imperfect
and hence
Mankind is devine
